Director of Event Management
Position Title: Event GM- Event
Director
We
are looking to hire an Event Director or GM (from a Lebanese company
looking to relocate to Saudi) to be based in Riyadh – Saudi Arabia.
Candidate should be enthusiastic, with
fresh ideas, proactive and successful.
Primary responsibilities:
- Develop the
Event Division
- Business
Development
- Plan, design
and produce events
- Work with the
stakeholders on budget setting and KPI
- Prepare
budgets and ensure adherence
- Coordinate
all operations
- Supervise all
staff (event coordinators, caterers etc.)
- Ensure
clients’ satisfaction by talking with them, listening to their needs and
presenting ideas and solutions to their requirements
- Work with
suppliers, contractors, employees, and many other parties at the same time.
- Source and
negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate
contracts prior closing any deal
- Conduct
market research
- Partner with
other departments/colleagues to ensure consistency in high quality outputs and
services
- Analyze the
event’s success and prepare quarterly and yearly reports
- Anticipate
problems and create innovative solutions
- Proactively
handle any arising issues on the event day
- Ensure
compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
- Willing to
work off hours and travel to different cities within KSA
- Prepare
and/or review quotation
Basic
Qualifications:
Education:
BSc/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management, event
management or related field is preferred. Candidates from other fields of
education, with satisfactory work experience will also be considered
Experience:
- Provenexperience
as an events manager in large scale events (entertainment)
- Skilled in project
management
- Knowledge of KPIs and
marketing techniques for event management
- Impressive portfolio
of previously managed events (Parties, concerts...)
Skills:
- Mastering
English is a must (Speaking and Writing)
- Arabic Speaking
and writing (Optional)
- Computer Literacy (power Point,
excel)
- Familiarity with numbers is key
- Great
Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability
to communicate effectively with others and to understands what the client needs
- Flexibility and

Job Details:
- Full time
position
- Official working
days – Sunday to Thursday
- Work in the
weekend will be required based on the event needs
- Travel to
different cities in KSA as business needs require
